

Though Dom (Vin Diesel), Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) and Roman (Tyrese Gibson) are involved with Crossroads’ main story, the general focus goes to two new characters. It’s like you want to like the game, but there’s something that’s always holding you back. Plus, a critical camera issue keeps the picture from being seen completely.

However, it has a serious problem with its pacing, and one of its biggest features isn’t really as worthwhile as it was hoping. Not to say that Crossroads doesn’t have its heart in the right place, because it does. We would finally get the Fast and Furious game that we deserved.īut along the way, the developers at Slightly Mad Studios (the makers of Project CARS) got a little lost. But when Bandai Namco announced Crossroads last year with some of the series’ original stars, hope began to bubble to the surface. The last time we saw the Fast and the Furious franchise make its way to consoles, it was with the forgettable licensed Showdown, a lame attempt at recapturing the energy of the over-the-top films.
